Do you live or work in the Northbrook or Durrington areas of Worthing?
Are you interested in using blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other free web sites (sometimes called “social media”) to help your voluntary group or organisation?
Want to find out how you can use social media to organise your group's activities, promote events, collect feedback and keep a record of all the great things your group does?
Come along to our free drop-in advice session.
This is a completely informal get-together with friendly people on hand to help. No jargon, no pressure - and free tea/coffee/soft drinks and nibbles too!
At the "surgery" you’ll get chance to sit down and have a cup of tea with someone who understands about social media, and tell them about your group or organisation and what you do. Then you’ll be able to look at the kinds of web sites and services you might find helpful, and see what similar groups are doing.
Thinking of getting your group online? Already got a web site that is difficult or expensive to update? Looking for an easier way to share information, photos and videos online? Drop in for free advice.
Durrington & Northbrook Social Media Surgery has been initiated by the Action Northbrook partnership, which brings together local public services, community groups and businesses to share information and work together for the benefit of the local community.
