Your surgery manager is a good person and we don't expect them to do anything besides very social things. If you have a question about a surgery your first port of call is your surgery manager – after all it's their surgery, not ours.

We care about the "Social Media Surgery Plus" name and logo, the website's look and feel, our software code and scripts, and our social computing techniques and how we apply them to monitoring help given at social media surgeries. We store information about the dates of surgeries you sign up to, surgeries attended and the help you receive at the surgery.

Help given at Aston Social Media Surgery

Sourour Trevelyan helped Otilia Regade to with setting up Hotmail email address, explaining some of the basic functions. Sourour helped otilia with problem solving with some of the links. Stuart Payne helped Denny Mann to to used Twitter and explain the concept of hashtagging. Also Stewart set up a profile page for Denny and her community organisation, called Dyslexia Association. Beemal Brahmbhatt helped Atikur Rahman to Beemal helped Atikur with his LinkedIn requirements. We set up a profile for him, showed him how he could job search, put his cv on his profile and how to build his network. Sourour Trevelyan helped p pai to repition and reinforcing of things learnt in previous session. In particular i practiced using facebook and you tube. Sourour Trevelyan helped Nathanial Bell to set up a facebook account and how to use facebook. She also helped me how to use google and i found it very interesting and helpful. I really would like to learn alot more about the social media to help me with my music ventures. Next week when i come in i would really like to continue and refresh on what i have learnt today.
